Toppo has always been an artist who pushes against the conventions of traditional society. Raised by an actor/ fight choreographer and a costume crafts person from a small town in the Pacific Northwest, they quickly learned that conventional is overrated. As an Italian-American blessed with angular features, lanky limbs, and a perpetual zest for life, their friends often say that they are just a "weird little guy" in a female body. They have found solace in characters from the horror genre, as a clown and (on occasion) as just a regular old gal.

Recent acting credits include Sister James from Newton Theatre Company's Doubt, Renfield from Dracula, and Grumio in Actor's Shakespeare Project's The Taming of the Shrew.
